i love street fashion blogs such as face hunter and altamira i just love seeing what fashionistas around the world are wearing, some crazy some very stylish outfits but all very inspiring

fabulous bakin' girl

i have really been neglecting my poor blog lately, but i'm back now after having a bit of a wobble last week, but i found this great article on modish biz tips that made me feel better, this is an excellent blog especially for creative people who are trying to make a living from what they love to do.
anyway ........ after that i feel the need for some sugar what better way to get a sugar fix than with cup cakes especially fabulously decorated chocalate cup cakes bake it pretty is a fab shop with a big variety of cake toppers, bun cases, cake boxes and so on.
i haven't made cakes since i was little with my mum, but i would love to have a cup cakes and cocktails party.

how cute (and cheeky) are these baby grows found on a fab etsy shop called xmarksthetot they are all made from vintage adult t shirts and come with a matching little hat so sweeeeet.

iv'e been really busy over the past few days with work, and with stuff for accesori design i found a really good printing company so lots of exciting things to come for accesori design including my first greetings card range and lots of new designs and colour ways.

this time there of the wedding variety, my sister is getting married next year so this weekend, me my mum and my sister went to the national wedding show in birmingham, so many gorgeous things my faves were from a company called fur coat no knickers (love that name) they specialise in vintage dresses and accesories and fab designer jenny packham who has the most beautiful dresses.

fab matalan range

on a trip to matalan today with my sister we spotted the gorgeous new range influence by colin and justin them off the telly. There are some really cute peices in this range i bought some candles in green and grey and my sister bought a fab molecular clock (seen below) here's a few of my fave bits.

no chintz manchester

no chintz are a interior design company based in manchester they work on commercial and residential projects throughout the uk, they've done a lot of projects with urban splash on new apartments around the city.
their look is really simple with pops of bright colour and definitley no chintz !!!!

i love these masks from cox and cox especially the audrey hepburn and marylin ones these, would be a great idea for a dinner party make everyone wear one and look silly.

i just love these fab illustrations from gala house available on etsy i think i might have to buy one (or two) of these to hang in my own house.

v hotel amsterdam

i love amsterdam its such a beautiful city and the people there are really friendly
v hotel is located in the hip pijp area just outside the city centre, the of the hotel has lots of little quirky touches including the tree in reception with room keys hung on it and the stencil art behind the bed not to mention the gorgeous fire in the lounge area.

looooove these cards from London based company takkoda the company was set up when the two designers behind it couldn't find cool animal designs for their kids.
my faves are the pug nurse and the amy winehouse cat (which looks so much like her!!!)

i love a cute animal (who dosen't) i came across cute overload while browsing, with a title like that its self explanitary really what this site is about, it has loads of pics of cute,funny and sometimes scary animals.

rule britannia

over the weekend i decided to have a good tidy up, i started by going through all my old magazines, tearing out all the good stuff ( i now have two really cute baskets with my magazines in.)I found this gorgeous shoot from elle magazine inspired by punk and the queens jubilee, i just adore the styling and use of props in these pics and it reminded me a lot of my union jack love print i have in my etsy shop.

Hi hotel

Its so grey here at the moment i can't wait for the summer (if it ever comes) so i'm dreaming of holidays. Hi hotel is a boutique hotel in Nice, France it was designed by Matali crasset. Its a really sleek modern place with white walls and bold colour brought through in the furniture and touches on the walls. Each room has a projector tv, there are no mini bars in the rooms but each floor has a vending machine stocked with champagne. love it!!!
